A collection of herbal and vibrational offerings dreamt from the poetry of ancestral remembering.

The name arrived as a breath of springtime air upon the fertile landscape of sacred silence. Weaving my Germanic and Celtic matrilineal ancestry with my Ashkenazi Jewish patrilineal ancestry, this name was gifted to me by ancestors known and unknown—those who lived as humans, as wanderers, as sheltering trees, as songs of the wild, as whispers upon the wind.

Artemisia, well known to my ancestors, is one of the plants that initiated me onto the path of herbalism. Atara, meaning crown, is part of my Hebrew name, Atara Mageina. Together, Artemisia Atara is a prayer for embodied remembrance and eternal rejoicing for the gift it is to dance, sing, love, grow, and heal with and within this beautiful Earth.

Artemisia Atara Apothecary is an ode to being crowned victorious in humble reunion with the rhythms and cycles of this Earth. The coalescing of the terrestrial with the celestial, a blessing from root to crown. A gift woven of soil and stardust for those among us who yearn to dance with the medicine of plants, listen to the language of flowers, sing the world anew with their technicolor petals, and behold the Ocean of Love in a single drop of honey medicine dew.

It is in the mythic spirit of this name and this vision that I am honored to offer these small-batch, handcrafted herbal creations.
